Installing Worms Armageddon on Windows 7

Here's how:

1) Put the CD in your CD Tray
2) Download and run this installer
Be sure not to use spaces in the directory name.

For me, the installer didn't install the patch and the update.
Download them and install first the newest patch, then the update.
I recommend getting the newest beta version.


Worms Armageddon is still being updated to this day, which is quite incredible...

  Kingdom Come: Deliverance has a bug which makes the sound come out muffled or like the characters were talking far away or through a tunnel. This seems to be because the game thinks you are using multichannel surround sound. There seems to be no option to change the audio mode in-game. Instead, you should change your audio settings in Windows by following these directions: Press the windows key Type "Choose your output device" and select the search result. How to get rid of coil whine just by tweaking BIOS

Finally. No more ringing in my ears! I had a really bad case of coil whine with my computer. In the end I fixed it just by tweaking the BIOS! The coil whine was at it's worst when the PC was idling or under a light load.  Coil whine is a high-pitched sound that is produced by coils resonating at a high frequency. It is really hard to sense where exactly it's coming from. This is because humans cannot sense direction for high-pitched sounds. At first I thought it was my graphics adapter. How to fix the Anno 1404 out of memory error

While playing Anno 1404 Venice multiplayer in local LAN , I had some crashes on one of the PCs. The game suddenly shows a message saying "You no longer have enough memory" and then crashes after a while. I found several tips on the internet on how to solve this. But for me, this is what worked: 1) Download this tool called 4GB Patch and run it on these four .exe files: \Anno 1404 Gold Edition\Addon.exe \Anno 1404 Gold Edition\Anno4.exe \Anno 1404 Gold Edition\tools\AddonWeb.exe \Anno 1404 Gold Edition\tools\Anno4Web.exe 2) Reduce graphics quality to medium or low. Running Black Dahlia on modern PCs

I just played through the old PC adventure game Black Dahlia. It's a good game, well worth a look if you like adventure games. It's a full-motion video (FMV) based game spanning 8 CDs, with some OK acting and an entertaining (but confusing and sometimes illogical) plot. Asus K8n bios update

I was bummed to find out that there was no USB boot option on my K8N motherboard BIOS. Hoping that a BIOS update would give me that option, I started to figure out what to do. I downloaded the latest BIOS version from the ASUS K8N pages . (download -> select your OS -> BIOS -> Bios version 1011). The version 1011 was released in 2006, so I figure that will be the last version they will release. Then I got the Asus Update program for Win XP, from softpedia . First, I saved the current BIOS for backup reasons. I selected "Save current BIOS to file" and clicked Next, chose a folder and saved it as "oldBIOS.rom". Then I updated the BIOS with "Update BIOS from file". I chose the new BIOS rom file "1011.rom" I downloaded earlier.   The BIOS Flash window.
